FAQ's

DEPOSITS/RETAINERS

-Retainers must be paid during time of booking to secure your service and are also used as a down payments toward styles. You must pay the remaining balance at end of the appointment. Cash, Zelle, ApplePay, and Cashapp are accepted. 

-Deposits/Retainer cost:

$25 for styles under $100. $50 for styles over $100. $100 for styles over $300

HOW DO I RESCHEDULE OR CANCEL AN APPOINTMENT?

-Clients must cancel 24 hours before the appointment time or forfeit deposit/retainer.

-Clients must check the schedule and text a new date and time to reschedule their appointment at least 24 hrs before the original appointment or forfeit your deposit. Deposit can be rolled over to a newly rescheduled time only once. 

WHAT IS THE GRACE PERIOD? WHAT IF IM RUNNING LATE?

Please communicate if your are running late. The grace period is 15 minutes. After 15 minutes, a late fee charge of $25 will be added to your balance.

-After 20 minutes, your appointment will be rescheduled or canceled, and your deposit/retainer will be forfeited. 

IS HAIR PROVIDED?

Colors provided: 1B, 2, 4

-Hair is provided for most braiding styles except crochet braids/loose hair.

-Kanekalon hair is provided for knotless, traditional braids, and feed-in cornrows. Marley hair is provided for styles such as Marley twists and invisible locs. 

-Due to the huge variety of crochet hair types, crochet hair is not provided. Bundles for weaves are also not provided at this time.

DO I NEED TO COME WASHED AND BLOWDRIED?

-Wash and blowdry is an add-on service. If you choose not to use this service, you must come washed, detangled, and blowdried. 

-A $20 fee will be charged if your hair is not detangle, unmanageable, or wet. 

DO YOU SERVICE KIDS?

-Nickelly Styles services all ages. 

HOW LONG DOES MY HAIR NEED TO BE?

-Your hair must be at least 2 inches to be serviced.

CAN I BOOK A SERVICE THAT IS NOT LISTED ON YOUR WEBSITE?

-Yes. If a style you want is not listed on the website, you must first text me for a consultation to be sure that it is something that can be done and then you can book the style under the “Freestyle” listing. 

-Freestyle pricing starts at $50 and is adjusted based on the look you want to achieve. Price can be be confirmed during consultation.

CAN I BRING EXTRA GUEST?

Yes. All extra guests must be approved beforehand. Please text to notify me if you will be bringing additional guests.

 

DO YOU ACCEPT WALK-INS?

No walk-ins accepted. All clients MUST have an appointment.

DO YOU TRAVEL?

There is a travel fee for offsite locations. Text for more info.

Cancellation Policy

Free cancellation up to 24 hours BEFORE appointment. If you are not able to cancel 24 hours in advance, you will forfeit your deposit.

Entering Home Salon
Please text when you arrive. Upon arrival to the front door, please use the path to the right side of the house that leads you to the basement door in order to enter the salon.
